Danielle’s Hell’s Kitchen boost

Model Danielle Bux may have only made third place in Hell’s Kitchen and narrowly missed a place in the final, but it seems she got something out of the experience – a bit of advice from top chef Marco Pierre White about what to serve guests at her wedding to football pundit Gary Lineker.

"I do like Marco - he helped me with the wedding menu and he's been really brilliant with giving me advice,” she said. He's told me not to go for hot stuff, but stick to colder food for a summer wedding."

But the likes of Ms Dynamite and Adrian Edmondson shouldn’t be waiting by the letterbox for an invite. "I'm not sure if I'll invite any of the Hell's Kitchen contestants,” she said. “I doubt I'll ask Marco to come because he might give me that evil stare he does and freak me out down the aisle!"

Yeah, that would be a little off-putting. But Danielle added that despite his initial scariness, MPW is actually all gooey inside, like a big hairy Jaffa Cake (not her exact words, sadly): "I was terrified of Marco when I went on the show but I think he saw that and took me under his wing. In the end, I saw a completely different, softer side to him."

What next for La Bux, then? Well, apparently the reality star is keen to open her own gastropub – although her fiancé’s reaction suggests that the dream may be a little way off.

"I came home last night and said I'd like to have a pub. But Gary laughed and said: 'Oh, you're not being serious.'"
What a guy.
